To untie ourselves from a traditional design method based on sustainability we studied both the philosophy and the methodology of open source.
In computer science, open source refers to a software who’s developers allow and promote a universal access to it via a free license including subsequent improvements to it by anyone.
The most exemplary case study of the opendesk philosophy is the Wikihouse 4.0, a housing system downloadable on-line and constructable with the tools of digital fabbrication.
A housing unit has a design which is costumizable according to the needs and is achievable with easily available materials.
