Anxious Poncho / Mental disorder care

Anxious Poncho
Anxious Poncho

Physical behaviors and gestures are the most direct reflections when mental disorder patients are overwhelming with negative emotions. Comfort object is a channel to provide them psychological comforts, and further to defense against anxiety. Anxious Poncho’s stuffing and patterns are designed by following the gestures that happen in stressful conditions. Mental disorder patients’ sensory feelings are enhanced when they are touching and interacting with it. Through embracing, hiding, twisting, protecting, and grabbing with this poncho, it calms down patients by their own gestures, and smooths the uncomfortability by physical stimulations.
