Notex Wristband

Notex wristband is a money identification solution for the visually impaired. 15 Million is the blind population of India and 80% of them fall below the poverty line.
My aim during this project was coming up with a simple solution which doesn’t use any complex parts. So in a way making it more affordable and aid mass production.
It is made of spring steel with 4 kinks when arranged according to the difference in lengths of the Indian rupee bills. To identify the bill, visually impaired need their sense of touch to know at which kink the bill ends.
