The project questions the current extensive consumption pattern of local pork industry and reconfigures the network into much denser towers. The tower consists of a pig farm, slaughterhouse, meat packaging hall, leather factory, restaurants and museum. Different programmes are arranged in a way that fits the tower’s top down operation. Linking four restaurants is a museum-like route, showing the ‘pig to pork’ process.
The goal of the architecture is to educate the public on how and where our plate of meat came from and the processes and manpower involved behind, as a catalyst to cherish our food resources.
