When you feed medicine to infants, newborns have a hard time swallowing it because of its bitter taste. Mothers struggle because when their babies become ill they are required to take medicine, but since infants are uncapable of swallowing medicine they eventually vomit. Once the baby vomits the vomiting nucleus inside the brain becomes exhausted, indeed making it impossible to throw up again. However the nucleus recovers too quickly and soon the baby starts to vomit again, which can be dangerous for the baby's health.
