Force x Distance by LIAN - Product Design

Force x distance is a movable light which has been inspired by cameracranes and the law of moments. The user is able to move the light source to a place where light is required at a certain moment. Movement is possible through the long arm and its pivots. The design and its functionality are partly determined by the law of moments which is expressed in a formula: ‘moment = force x distance’. The light has a minimalistic and graphic appearance and is developed in metal which has a powder coated surface.
