Tea-Hu / cup

Tea-Hu
Tea-Hu

Calabash, named “Hu” in ancient China, means auspiciousness. People sliced it into two parts and used it as a bailer at least in Han Dynasty. It accompanies Chinese people for thousand years. However, the faucet has taken place of the bailer made by calabash with the development of urbanization.
Tea-Hu is a redefinition and redesign of calabash. By perfect cutting to make every part has its use, the new tea set made by natural material continues the idea of ancient Chinese people, and brings calabash back to modern life. It has the nature of beauty and is easy for manufacture, commercially viable, environmentally friendly and sustainable.
