Mazu Board Game / Board Game

Mazu Board Game
Mazu Board Game

In order to preserve and promote traditional Taiwanese folk religion, the design concept is to learn Mazu Cultural Tours through fun interaction. This creative cultural product is comprised of a board game similar to Hasbro's Monopoly along with a book introducing Mazu Fever in March. The outer package is the actual game board based on the Mazu pilgrimage route. It contains four do-it-yourself paper structures representing local attractions. Using illustrations to present various worshipers and townships, players gain an understanding of religious folk customs through answering questions about pilgrimages while moving around the game board.
