The “Structured Chaos” form language metaphorically translates the atmosphere of the megacity of São Paulo into a spontaneous, irregular structure where no pillars are vertical and no beams are horizontal, where a powerful and dynamic steel mesh that is as asymmetric and surprising as the city is supporting a glass skin shelter. It contains the principles of universal design and all of the general principles of sustainability. The “Structured Chaos” is one of the four bus shelters designed for the city of São Paulo, Brazil. 7,500 bus shelters will be built; together they will form one of the largest urban outdoor media circuits worldwide.
