BACKGROUND

In modern society, people are expanding their field of activity more and more. However, the blind still have a narrow range of activities and they can only see the small amount of the world.

CONCEPT

BRAILLE SIGHT is a new device for visually impaired. It aims to provide the blind with opportunity to see the world. BRAILLE SIGHT is composed of two parts; “Frame” and “Pad”. The view which the blind people see is shown on the “Pad” as a braille in real-time. “Frame” is able to wear like as glasses, so that it can be used anywhere at anytime. It will allow blind people to better communication with the world.
