Unbearable Lightness / Installation Art

Unbearable Lightness
Unbearable Lightness

A man’s body is being carried off by a bunch of balloons, floating into the sky. The floating body is in an unstable and somewhat precarious position. This installation art project creates a desire for lightness, the ephemeral, and the feeling of floating and flying.
Is this “floating free” real or imaged? There is a constant struggle between weightiness and lightness, yet without one, the other cannot exist. This installation art’s “unbearable lightness” takes the audience on a journey through the designer’s mind as they explore “gain and loss” to extinguish the lightness, weightiness, and value of living.
