Wasserspiegel / basin

Wasserspiegel

How can you make people save water while washing their hands?
‚Wasserspiegel‘ is a basin which gives feedback on how much water you use to wash your hands.
The used water rises virtually in front of a mirror. If you use too much water you can hardly see your reflection and you literally drown in your own used water.
The transparent OLED display in front of the mirror is connected to the tap and lets the used water rise virtually as soon as you open it. This way the mirror remains clean.
Instead of changing the product itself we wanted to change the process of using it to give the user an aha experience.
