Redefining Retail / Annual Report 2011

Redefining Retail

Discipline: Communication

Discipline: Communication

The goal of this project is to help readers understand how much retail has evolved. When they see this book, they will immediately equate its cover with a kind of gift box. They will also see that its inner sheet is made of recycled wrapping paper, which illustrates how things are consumed as well as the company’s commitment to the 3Rs. Tags and barcodes are used as graphic motifs to represent the retail industry. In addition, the keyword – redefining – reflects the values of consuming, such as happiness and convenience.
