Introducing SANGO by AURES. Designed and developed by IT manufacturers AURES Technologies in collaboration with designer Betrand Médas from ID’S, SANGO is an original, groundbreaking EPOS terminal concept. Unlike existing EPOS terminals on the market, the foundational idea is to provide a point of sale terminal that frees up space beneath the touch screen. The monitor is suspended from an offset support that also houses the CPU. This technological feat has been made possible by using a structure made entirely out of cast aluminum – serving as a kind of exo-skeleton. Partly visible, partly concealed, this structure is clad in interchangeable colored polycarbonate sections – the next step in the EPOS color revolution first launched by AURES in 2005. Injected aluminum is strong and allows simple, graceful, functional esthetics – with the added bonus that it also acts as a heat sink for the CPU.
