Intelligent networking and open interaction are changing industry robotics with breathtaking speed. Using the metaphor of an organic, neuronal network with which robots interact on a sensory basis, the innovation leaders, architecture and exhibits at the global trade fair for robotics converge to form a huge invitational gesture. Without the usual safety enclosure, robots at the KUKA Robotik pavilion will be freely interacting with the 16.5 t floating pavilion roof, suspended from the hall ceiling 12 m up. And they’ll be demonstrating the potential of virtual electronic shelters live, assisted by pulsating light and sound choreography.
