„The real cookbook“ is the first cookbook that really lives up to its name: it’s a book you can actually cook and eat. Every page is made of fresh pasta, and the book is packaged as classic lasagne. The brief was to develop a limited special edition for the Gerstenberg Publishing House, a publishing company that specializes in high-quality culinary and art books. With a little sauce between the pages and a sprinkle of cheese on top, “The one and only cookbook” becomes a lasagne that can be baked in the oven at 200 °C. The prose etched on the four inner pages of pasta ruminates on the subject of cooking.

How simple can an idea be – and how ingenious?! A cookbook you can cook is the ultimate, interactive solution for a publisher’s sensational presentation. One is even left wanting more, and the jury is curious to see what recipe will be next on the menu. The lasagna sheets, fragrant coming fresh out of the package, are embossed with sentences on pages made of dough. Absolutely deserving of an iF gold award!
