Citylite combines a simple and elegant design with easy handling and outstanding efficiency. It is powered by two lithium coin cells that are connected in parallel - a technical detail that simply doubles the batteries’ life span. The light angle is 220 ° so that the cyclist is visible even from the sides, a feature that ensures a particularly safe ride. Moreover, it can swiftly be slipped on and off the bicycle without requiring any brackets or tools. When the lights are assembled after use, the design ensures that everything comes together perfectly. Form and function are united in Citylite through a straightforward design which is well-thought-out down to the last detail.

With this product, there are many things that come together here that work really well. It addresses an important safety topic and offers bicyclists a novel solution. It is so intelligent that the light comes on automatically and it remembers the user's preferred switch mode i.e. on a constant or flashing setting. It knows you are using it so it does what you expect it to do. It immediately explains its function. So many things in design are used beautifully in a single product that I think functionally design-wise absolutely surprised the jury.
